But I am talking about why lawyers love to keep post on date for going to court? I am talking about when there is no need or not necessary to need more time.
Possible lawyers are too busy that they always want more free time to play golf or what?
If you say better for clients, what benefit to waiting when we just want finish it now to get over with it.

I know hundreds of defense attorneys and do not know one that “loves to delay court date.” Court dates get delayed for hundreds of reasons, including vacations and sick children and such. They also get delayed to see if witnesses might decide not to show up. Or to get a different judge. Or to get a different prosecutor or because there is a sale at Sears. I cannot tell you each of the reasons behind thousands of different decisions by different people.
the eye witness’s memory will fade with time, allegiances ( of witness) may change and if they delay long enough they can claim the client wasn’t given a fair trial, access to speedy justice.
The longer they delay a case, the memory of the witnesses fade, some witnesses move, some decide it is not worth testifying about, etc. It is yet another dirty tactic by defense attorneys to get their guilty clients free so they can continue to victimize society and increase crime rate.
